Cars and coffee events are a great way to go out, find other enthusiasts, and have interesting conversations about cars over a nice cup of coffee while taking a look at the cars that made it to the meet. Below I have some of my most memorable car meets that I have had the pleasure of attending alongside some general information about them. I hope that you find at least one interesting enough to attend!
*Most (if not all of these meets) have a large platform of youtubers who attend them, so if you're ever curious about one looking it up on Youtube may be a good way to learn more about them.
Every Saturday, ~7:00 AM - ~11:00 AM
A nice, lowkey but still popular car meet. Meets earlier in the mornings, parking may be tricky if you want a good spot. But holy christ, are the spots amazing. From someone coming here consistently for 3 years, there have been multiple of every car you can ever dream of seeing. Its a meet for everyone. JDM, American Muscle, track, Supercars, Hypercars... you name it and its been there. Also, good breakfast locations are close by.
And on top of all that, everyone remains respectful. No sideshows, burnouts, revving, or generally dangerous stunts that puts shame on the rest of the car community. Just a large group of enthusiasts all looking to enjoy their passions together. Despite its quietness, there is still a fair police presence around the meet.

Every Saturday 9:30 AM -11:30 AM
Another great and quiet meet, and connects perfectly with Rancho Santa Fe cars and coffee listed above as it is located roughly one mile down the road. This one picks up a little bit later and is usually filled with people who did not want to wake up early for the Santa Fe meet. The main venue is a bit small, meaning if you would like to show your car here it may be worth coming a bit earlier. However, if you just want to show up and look at cars, there is another parking lot in the same area with PLENTY of space.
There are another two great cafes for breakfast and a beautiful lookout where you can see cars going in and out of the meet, as well as a view out looking towards a landscape.
Every Saturday, 7:00AM
San Clemente morning cars and coffee opens publicly at 7:00 in the morning as sponsors are given the time before then to set up their tents, park their showcars, etc. This event is a lot less lowkey compared to the other two, and is one of the most popular meets in Socal as it sits directly between Los Angeles and San Diego, Roughly 45-60 minutes drive away from either city.
It takes place in a large parking lot within a shopping mall and there are many chain-cafes open in the morning. With its popularity comes a huge variety of cars to see, and the large parking lot packs every car like sardines all lined up next to each other. The newest Pagani could be sitting next to a Ford Model T. Despite such a large parking lot, the meet still garners enough attention to fill it to the brim, so to get a space its better to be on time. If you don't plan on showing anything, don't worry as there is another exterior parking area close by.
The biggest note about this meet that I cannot stress enough is the attention it gets, which has had multiple side affects. On one hand you get a lot of incredibly rare spots, and you are guaranteed to see something incredible every time you go there. However, the sponsors make the meet seem less homely and quaint compared to something like the other two meets listed above. It feels like your going to a major event such as a race-weekend, except without any racing. It is also usually very crowded, so those who usually come later may have difficulty in finding quick food or bathrooms. Regardless, the meet is still incredible with all sorts of vehicles showing their faces and lining up within an incredible venue, definitely would recommend that every enthusiast would go here at least once.
